Time for more cute/strange/funny crochet....

As I've probably mentioned before, I have this habit of googling random crochet items made by exceptionally creative and crazy smart crafters. I know it's Christmas but none of them were Holiday themed.

Crochet Lace Dress ( Newborn)...

So here is my lasted installation to my crochet (and etsy) collection. I found an old crochet baptismal dress and decided to change some it. I couldn't find buttons that matched the dress to my liking so I decided to crochet them as well...ergo, this:

Crochet Coronet...

Messing around with some scrap yarn I had lying about and came out with this design. Not thinking much of it and would like a lot of criticism from people. What do you think? What could improve?

Crochet Visor Hats...

So I've found another client. She is a wonderful woman from California, with 6 kids, nieces and nephews. She made an Alchemy request for 15 different children's hats: 9 knitted baby bonnets, and 6 crocheted visor hats with detachable flowers of different colors. ( She also asked for a crocheted clothing line of which I will post here soon. It's really neat.) It's been a bit tough trying to find the colors close to what she wants, but so far it's been a good experience...I'll be posting pictures up as I make them so get ready for more posts! :)

More Masks...

Ok. So I seem to be a little obsessed with crocheted masks. But I really can't help myself. I truly like the look. Unsurprisingly enough I went on yet another google hunt to find more crocheted mask patterns with my mind set on finding as many as I possibly can. Ergo, here is yet another

Boot Leg Bag...

While scrolling down the Esty website alchemy listings, I came across someone asking for the making of a crochet"Bootleg Chanel Bag" she found on the Internet. Interestingly enough, I had stumbled upon the very same web page holding the very same pattern. The whole point to the bags development is to debase designer bags through "mimicking". Something I found rather humorous. Ergo, I made no hesitation to bid, which I won. I must mention it was the very first bid I won on the Alchemy section. The woman, or young lady who requested the bag, is such a great sport and I can't wait to send her the finished item.

One question I do have is that although the website seems very legit ( a .org instead of a .com) is the logo not copy righted? I didn't think much of it until I started making the logo. Now I'm not so sure...Still she paid me over Etsy and so I feel obligated to finish it and send it to her. All of which I will.

Any insight(s)??
Here's what the bag looks like. The instructions are on the Counterfeit Crochet Project web pageHow to Make a Bootleg Chanel Bag

Crocheted Choker and matching Earrings...

Okay, so...I've finally designed my own pattern. Took me long enough. It started out with just the drop style earrings and kind of morphed into a choker and earring jewelry set. I also made a variant of the earrings as well, changing them drop drop style to loops. I plan on making a
variant the original choker design as well. I've got an idea in mind just have to try it out. Let me know what you think!
